Pat Foley

Pat Foley placed an advertisement in the Dublin Evening Post on Wednesday the 25th of May 1789 to promote his brass foundry business at No 57, High Street, Dublin.

However, by late 1794, his foundry was at 179 Abbey Street.  This newspaper clip, dated 29th November 1794, gives details:

The business appears to be thriving at a new address well into the 19th century; they posted the following advertisement in the Dublin Evening Post on 24 December 1818:
